i have a yellow 400ex and i just got my grafix kit in,i was peeling off my factory grafix and the color looked more orange under the grafix than the rest of the plastics.i know yellow fades,actually any color fades,is there anyway to bring back the factory color?

You can plastic renew the whole thing.

Buy a new grafix kit and cover it up;)

sunlight is the reason your color is faded. it is quite noticable on the older red ex's. there aint a whole lot you can do for bringin bak color, but if ya want some shine, either mopnglo or future floor wax does the trick. Just do a search, theres some great info on the subject.

my reds where faded so i spray the plastic with wd40 then wipe it in with a rag. works for me:devil:

this is what i do. Get a thing of amor-all. spray the chit outa ur plastic and wipe it off it will do miracles. This is all u need it will cover scratches i actually had someone come up to me at the track and ask me where i got my new front plastic and how i keep it soo clean. I told him it was the stock 99 plastic and he bout **** his pants.

I HEARD HEATING THEM WITH A TORCH BRINGS BACK THE COLOR. JUST BECAREFUL NOT TO MELT IT.

No. This only enables you to get the stress marks out of the plastic...best fix for that....dont wreck!:D
