What kind of clutch setups are people running with their 440's? When I bought mine it had a completly stock clutch in it, and I did not know about it, and now I am paying for it. It shattered the stock basket, broke all the fiber plates, and broke the inner hub. I just found out that I need to buy a stock and hinson basket cause the hinson does not have all the parts on it, you have to drill the rivits out of the stock one, and put them on the hinson. Right now I have another stock clutch setup in it that I only plan on putting a couple rides on. Will putting just a hinson basket be enough or will I need anthing else?? I don't exactly like the idea of having to sepend 3 more hours digging chunks of clutch from out of the bottom end of the motor if I can help it. That was just not cool:mad:

The hinson basket comes with everything you need to swap it out with the stocker. The only thing you need off the stocker is the primary gear that mounts to the back. IF that gear is OK then you don't have to buy another one.

I'd recommend getting a 8 plate setup from sparks, gt thunder or whoever to go with teh 440 kit.

I just left mine completely stock as far as the clutch went.
