I'm curious about how many of you are still going to run your EXs next year? For that matter, what are most of your intentions for next year? Rides, what classes, series, etc.?:)

I'll be racing some local CRA mx races. I'm not worried about the new quads bring 'em on.:muscle:

I'm glad to hear I won't be the only one sticking with the ole 400. I've talked to a lot of people on what to ride (or trade for) for next season. But with all I've invested, I would only be going backwards to square one with another machine. The entire procees of buying parts and setting it up would begin all over again:(

I'll be keeping mine for another 2 years or so....After seeing some of the new Yammies at Budds this weekend, kinda get me the fever, darn they look quick...... but I have dropped too much money in the EX to get rid of it now.......

I'm sure Rico has been beating the chit out of something, but it's not his 400:eek: ( In an un-related story, Rico will not be attending Ironman due to an unexpected wrist injury):D Just kidding.

I may run a few races next year but not sure yet. I'm definetly keeping my 400. I'll just be concentrating on my youngest son racing his 50 next year:) .

dont put a 440 in it. get a 416 o a 426, a 440 is to much or the engine to handle. belive me i know from exprience. we eneded have to get a new cylynder and take it down to a 416. I had the engine professionally done and it still did last.:(

i have money on the first new one in dec but in all honesty i cant ride the bikes that i have to there full potincial. i have a 440 ex and the 275 pv lonestar r and i have a ole 86 250r to beat around on.

in all honesty i cant ride the bikes that i have to there full potincial. You know what Eddy, that's a good point.I'm worried about still being competitive next year with my 440 but when I think of it, I still haven't reached the limits of my quad now. Choices, Choices!

Oh heck yeah, I'll still be riding my 400 next year. I race in the CRA, extra quad class. It is a good class, but all these other machines with displacement out the *** makes it a little more difficult. I think some classes are gonna have to change to bike specs instead of 'ability level.' JMO though. Man, racing kicks ***!
