3M Weatherstrip adheasive is the same stuff as Renthal and Honda grip glue! It comes in a tube that is about 4 times the size of those two for the same price and you can get it at Napa! Best stuff I have ever found! My grips never slip using this stuff.

If all else fails bust out the wire and pliers.

Or just pull them off and spray spray paint down inside em. ;)

Epoxy works great, and when you change the grips out, all the epoxy will come off with the grips, and not stick to the bars.

I used hairspray last week on my new Oury's and Trailtech bars, they felt great the next day but, after this weekend at H/M and some good puddles they were slippin pretty good. Luckily we had some zipties with us. I think I woulda been fine if I woulda sealed off the flange end to keep the water out. I think I will swing by NAPA for the weather strip adhesive. That sounds like the ticket.

You can get a roll of grip tape for golf clubs, a little spray solvent and there on. The tape cuts off easy or cut the grips and re activate the tape again with solvent.

All that crap works good for abotu a week or so. The only stuff I have found that lasts a long time is the Honda brand grip cement.

Oh, and you use lacquer thinner to clean the bars prior to putting the new grips on. It gets rid of all the old dirt and glue.

I use the 3M Superduty weather strip adhesive too since it was recommended in the instruction by Oury. I've eaten grips using some of the other tricks mentioned. The one thing I have to say is that if I don't wire tie the grips, eventually water will work its way in and leave me with a spinning grip.

I think part of the problem is the Oury grips themselves - I've actually posted this before, but I think they need to make a harder layer of rubber/plastic on the inside of the grip to give it more "body" I don't know if you guy's have ever checked out BMX/Mountain bike grips - but it seems ATV/MX grips are way behind the times as far as the tech of the designs compared to them.

i found this one stuff in our shop, its weatherstrip made by CASE International. My dad uses it on the tractors and combines, so i thought it would work. Grips have yet to budge in 6 months

My dad works on transformers and he brought home some adhesive that is like rubber cement, only a lot more stronger. Grips havent even budged.:)
