08-14-2001, 08:25 PM
With the recent talk of A Arms and which to buy I thought I'd take a few pics of my JD A Arms and post links to them. The pics are too big to post here as I dont want to be a bandwidth hog.

If ya want to see any other angle or maybe a close up of a certain area just ask and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks

chadwick..that is a sweet quad....do you have a stock rear shock?are you gonna do anything to it?

08-22-2001, 07:28 PM
Thanks trx400....the rear is stock right now and as you can see the PS Piggys are set up for MX...in the off season I was planning on sending in my rear for a Stadium make-over and most likely will get the fronts set up for Stadium as well.

heres a couple more different views of it.

What brand of beadlocks are those? Do you have Sparks engine work, or just his pipe.

08-22-2001, 08:50 PM
Douglas Ultimate Conventional Beadlocks

Only Sparks mods I'm running right now is the Pipe with the AFR filter and ABS lid.

416 National kit is getting done in my off season which is the end of November.

did u order your exhaust directly from sparks and is it the x-4 and how much was it , like 450?

08-23-2001, 05:11 PM
Max thanks....Although it'd be sweet to have a pollished motor I'm affraid this is all flash from the camera.

The PS piggys I ordered through Wind Mountain and were $716 delivered.

rydes I did order direct.....its the X-6......$459

BTW
Talked to Works and they "cant" rework the rear shock to their Stadium config.....Oh Well looks like TCS will be getting my 450 then...too bad Works

Thanks ex21....Its a Maier 250R smoothie hood, which I just graphted to the 400's plastic after the Headlightotomy surgery I performed with jigsaw :D

You can see the nose is held on by OEM pegs (which I believe the guy who thought them up should be awarded a pulitzer prize haha). Up around the gas tank they are held on by cable ties.

I really liked how Faron Dukes 416 looked like when Curtis raced it at the Legends event.

and after contacting Sparks racing I was told it was a custom smoothie hood he had built so I just used the Maier hood.
