View Full Version : 300ex cylinder ?

Ok i have to get a new cylinder for my 300ex. My friend got a bunch of parts with his 300ex and hes got an extra cylinder. the only thing is that we noticed there is some type of brass breather coming out right (the type like on the top of the head cover) next to the cam chain tensioner. none of the 300exs have this. why would someone do this? could i just plug it up somehow?

i believe what you are talking about is a crankcase breather, installed on 96 and newer models

it comes out of the cylinder? plus my cylinder that came off mine didnt have it and its a 98?
