Turf Tamers or Razr [Archive]

I am getting another set of wheels and tires from Rockymountain ATV and I need to know which I should get. I cannot decide between Razr or Turf Tamers. I will hopefully be racing a little with these and just trail riding tires. I will have my stock set to do whatever I want to with:D. So which is the best? Do Tufs do good offroad?

If you going to do trail riding also I would go with the razors cause the tamers are only 2ply tires. But if you are going to just mx race I would go with the tamers.

ive always had turfs and prolly always will, they perform great everywhere

I want the best tire that is going to offroad and groove through the track the best:D A race friend tells me to get the turfs, but I will be riding on them more than I will be racing them. So do Razrs do as good or near as good as the turfs, or is it a whole different story?

I think Turf Tamers only come in 18", so keep that in mind if your trails require some ground clearance.

Razors, ive run them on th3e track with 21" in front and 20" in back they track awesome and repond well to body movement to gain traction......

you can get them in 20's I believe.

what type of soil is in the track that you will race at? if its laom hardpack, the razrs will not compete with turfs. just keep that in mind
