hi everyone:

My husband works at a dealership here in ohio with a great guy that works as a porter. On the weekends he races dirt bikes and on this saturday he went to a event in PA and he crashed during the race and was life flighted (sp?) to the hospital. He has two broken legs and a punctured lung.

Please everyone say a prayer for him...and his family!!

do u know the name of the track...

was it switchback??? thats a really dangerous place and its right by the ohio boarder...

Does Dirtworld sound like somewhere in PA? We aren't sure where in PA it was, but he was pretty badly beaten up. They were saying his leg was in such a way that noone has ever seen a leg do that before. Its a shame cause he is a good kid (early 20's).

It was probably out at holeshot raceway. (pymatuning). by linesville. We go out there alot and almost every race someone is getting carted off. Its usually because someone jumps ontop of the rider in front of them..

Hope he gets better soon.

tommy, I've done a few races there, doesnt seem to be that bad, other than the MX track sucks.

Could be switchback or holeshot. I thought Dirtworld was in Ohio(Dorsett).

Holeshot is pretty tame as far as jumps. Not to peaky. But switchback is :(

he broke his feemer and is on oxygen at night to help him breathe. he is in good spirits but has a long recovery ahead.
he was jumping a double and as he went up the first hill the bike went into nuetral and he lost momentum and landed on the frame on top of the 2nd hill... ouch!

broken femur... i know what thats like...

do u know if he had to get external pins in it???? they suck:(
