I can do little stuff, but pappy is much more experienced and has better equipment. Not to mention his stuff usually looks way better.

Hey, pappy how busy are you. I need 4 a-arms pc, they are chrome right now and they are starting to rust plus chrome does not last long on XC. If I could get them off tomorrow and ship them to you Wednesday could you have them back to me by the 23rd or 24th of Oct.? I am right by the Quadshop if that helps on where they are coming from.

In the pics there it looks like the surface very smooth. I'm assuming that is the clear coat.

On my a-arms the finish (silvervein) has a very deep texture to it. And i'm not sure if it has a clear coat on it. Is the clear baked on like the powder or is just regular automotive type clear?

Joe

the clear is a baked on finish the same as any other color except its cured at a slightly lower temp. unless id di your a arms they probly dont have clear...i know that LSR is about the only one in the industry that uses clear ..although houser might be using it now also.

Chances are that is called Prismic Black. I have also seen it called stardust night. The holographic flake can be add to any color you want. There is even Red, Silver, Blue, Green, Purple, Gold, ect, ect...... so on and so on, flakes that can be add to any powder for that custom look.
