Ive Got a Problem! Help!

TOday i was riding the 400 when all of the sudden it just quite and when I tried to start it back up it just puffed blue smoke. I was told the rings are gone so im going to rebuild it. I want the 440 kit but i dont have a lot of $. I have enough for a wiseco 440 kit,a strong timing chain and a cam. Should I just rebuild it or bore it out?

If that is the only problem and there isn't any major damage you could just go to a 416 bore with a high comp piston and cam.

To go to a 440 it will need to be resleeved and/or stroked wear as the 416 just needs a bore.
