I blew the head gasket on my 400 this weekend. It has been a LONG time since I have had to do anything more than an oil change to it, so I have forgotten this. Does the 416cc bore use the stock head gasket, or do I need a larger one? If I remember correctly, it is the same, I just want to be sure before I tear it apart & fix it.

if i remember right, a 416 piston is 87mm? stock is 86? so your probably going to need a bigger gasket.

yup stock size and buy a stock oem xr400 steel gasket you won't regret it
