I'm pretty sure it will fit in the back as long as the tail gates down, you also might want to check the width of the bed to :)

I'm going to have to measure it to be sure. I drove by the Ford dealership and it looks really small, even with the gate down.

Eeeewww.. Those trucks are fugly. My friend did fit 2 dirtbikes in the back of one, so I would imagine a quad would fit..

I remember when these things first came out I either was looking at a magazine article or a brochure but they showed a jet-ski in the bed of one with the tailgate down and one of those stainless steel bed extender gates on the back.

By those measurements it may fit, but I called the Ford dealer today and he said the payload capacity is only 300lbs:eek2: and the bed is made of a composit material(read plastic):( ...Looks like I may be getting a new Xterra instead.

Are you for real?? They have to hold more than 300 lbs. that is weak. Yes a quad will fit, the only problem is you have to put one of the front tires on the wheel wells and of course the tail gate has to be down.
