degree key question ?

i put my degree key in with the red part facing out . the bottom is the same size as the stock one and the top looks shaved . whats gonna keep the flywheel from having play in it ?

The notched part of the degree key is what lets your flywheel advance the timing. Just rotate the flywheel until it bottoms out on the degree key and tighten the flywheel bolt. The bolt is what keeps it held in place. If the bolt is tight, it will not allow the flywheel to have any "play" in it.

is there anyway to screw the install up,as long as the red part is facing out ?

Nope not really just install it rotate the flywheel until it hits the key and them tighten the flywheel bolt.:)
