Anyone else crazy enough to stay up and watch the Formula1 race last night? Michael finished in the last points-paying position and won his 6th World Championship!!

Michael had a pretty ugly race but did what he had to in order to win the title. I expect he'll retire now:(

Ya, that was a good race, good season too. I don't know if he'll retire, but you never know. I wonder what him and his brother had to say to each other after the race!:D

I stayed up for it ,wasn't much of a race for him. A little bit of excitment with Rolf and Sato. Reubens saved his arse and the championship for him. They need to change the scoring, give more points for overall winners. From what I have heard he is going to keep racing... I hope it is true.

Michael's 8th place finish allowed him one point which still would've given him the championship even if Kimi would've won. Rubens' win did clinch the 5th straight Constructor's Championship for Ferrari, though. oldsandman, I agree about the points system. They changed it after last year when Schummy pummled the field and now there's very little reward for actually winning. I mean, Schumacher won 6 out of 16 races while Kimi has only won one but the final points spread was only 2 points. I like the fact that the top 8 positions now score points but the winner gets 10 points and 2nd place gets 8 points. I think they need to bump the winner to 12 points and keep the scoring for all other positions.

Go Shumi! It was an awesome race, very exciting till the end...
But I think McLaren and BMW will be even more competitive next year. BTW Valentino Rossi won the Championship in Malaysia with his HONDA RCV112! Go Honda and Ferrari! Go Red!
