pretty much everything about them is an advantage, increases travel, better handling, way better feeling on jumps, and what-not.

Works w/o rezzies run about $300-350 I think. With rezzies they are $475-500.

They are supposed to way better than stock but are at the bottom for aftermarket shocks.

I was going to get them but found a deal on PEPs:D

You can find used shocks all the time but the trick is finding them set up your weight and set up/. IMO it is not worth buying used shocks unless they are alredy set up for you.

They hold more oil to keep the shock running cooler which cuts down on shock fade. Don't ask me to explain what shock fade is:p I can't. And they prolong the life of the shock.

They probably wont be neccessary for your application but if you have the money get them.

Joe They also house nitrogen to charge the shock and keep the oil cool!

The basic Works Steelers are preload adjustable but much more range of adjustment than the stock shocks 5 way adjustment. You can also add rezzy's to them later if you feel that you need too.

For fronts, they start around $500 and go up from there depending on the options that you want.

You mean if you casually ride in the woods. If you plan on racing in the woods, some of the more expensive brands are worth the extra money.

But any aftermarket shock will be significantly better than your stockers.

no racing for me. I just want a smoother ride instead of getting thrown all over the place.
