I just replaced my pads on my 400ex and rode it around for awhile. The rear seems to be locking up like I am hitting the brakes. The rotor was extremely hot and still it wont roll freely. I checked the piston in the caliper and it moves freely. I installed EBC serve duty pads. Any ideas???

is your brake lever sticking?

Nope seems like the caliper is not releasing. It was hard to get the caliper back on. Wondering if the piston inside the caliper is stuck

Is the parking break adjuster still on the caliper?

1. make sure your parking brake is backed off and re adjusted

2. make sure the slides in the caliper mounting bracket are not siezing up. (pull the bracket off of the caliper and smear some grease in there)
