what would be the advantage of removing the snorkel on a 400ex? would there be any if i already have my air box lid removed? and how would i have to rejet it?

I cant imagine it would help, when i did it it caused my airbox to break.The snorkle actually helps hold the airbox to the quad.:(

well i put some peices of pvc pipe in my air tube to keep its shape...................also i make sure everything i tight and the good stuff...........;)

i ditched mine when i threw off the lid. I dont ride in much water, if any, so i figured it was just adding weight :rolleyes:
that extra .25 lbs really kills ya :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

haha, alright i guess i'll keep mine on if it doesn't really do anything anyway if i take it off. thanks for the info
