valves question

my friend is trying to tell me my valves are tapping? whats that mean? he also said on his 250r the valves tapped an im lik dude 2 strokes dont have valves?:confused:

tell your friend to stick a stage 3 powerband in there and the vavles will quick tapen on his 250 :rolleyes:

Your valves just need to be adjusted.

I've done it on a 400

but not a 300

do a search for 300ex valves.

We're doing my valves on my 300 this weekend, I have the clearance specs if you need those but if you have a manual for the 300ex or 250x it explains it very well & doesn't sound too difficult at all.
