From a long season of racing MX with a stock motor i decided to tear into it. From a stock motor i went to a 416 piston, bored cylinder to a 416, ported and polished, new steel flex gaskets, i have recently ordered a hotcam stage 2 cam, and i took off the decompressor mechanism also. I left my stock carb/jetting alone and I am running a K&N air filter with a TC slip-on and stock header pipe and running straight CAM2 gasoline (which is 108-or 110 octane). My question is that what jetting should i change for my set up? What seems to be the best settings? Also what is the best valve clearances for the valves with the addition of the hotcam? Thanks for your help. Any other tips you can recommend with my setup would be highly appreciated. :D
