Will my MP twist throttle cable work with my stock thumb throttle?

I bought a twist throttle and decided I dont like it, I thaught someone once said that you can uses a Motion Pro cable with your stock throttle and it would work alot easier. Is this correct and will it work ok? Thanks alot.

the motion pro cable has a different end than the stock one( stock one is connected perm.)....with a little mod you can make it work!!!!!
