i got some new tie rods.. how do i go about putting this suckers in on my 400?

First suggestion is to get a repair manual if you don't have one already.

It is not really difficult, just a little time consuming a tedious if you want to get it accurate.

Sorry, I can't explain it through typing.

I have allways found it easiest to remove the tie rod ends instead of trying to take the tie rods off(while leaving the ends still attached).First remove the pins,then I believe it's a 14mm socket and you will need a 14mm open end wrench to stop the stud to stop spinning(beetween the rubber boot and the atachment).Very simple once you have them off measure the distance from lock nut to locknut and then remove.Set up your replacements to match your measurements,but do not tighten yet.Repeat the process to install then while they are on the machine check your toe in and after that is done tighten everything up.I recommend loctite on the lock nuts and dont forget to install the pins.This should take care of it,hope this helps.If you need any help PM me.
