i have been told by many people about these "the quad is out of country, but i can ship to the usa if you pay first" type of deals that their scams...so it could be, but then maybe not.

Its probably a scam. I pretend I am interested sometimes. I will say I have a buddy near you and he can pick it up and pay with cash. They always make up an excuse for some reason:confused: :blah:

Here is a reply I recieved when I asked about a yfz with a buy it now for 3200( I think).

Hello,

My name is Garry Thomasson and I am the owner of this beautiful ATV,
The bike was never droped or raced or involved in an accident but I am
selling it at this price because I need the cash asap because I find a
verry nice oportunity to own a nice Suzuki Hyabusa
I am located in Italy and I will manage the shipping from here,I will
use FedEx air service and I will cover all shipping fees,
The payment has to be done through wire transfer from your name and
address on my name and address and in the same day with receiving your
OK regarding the payment I will shipp you he bike and let you know the
tracking number from FedEx so you can be able to track the bike on any
second,
I hope that my terms are acceptable with you and in both cases(you
accept or not)just send me an e-mail back with your decision,
I really hope that we can do business togheter!
Have a nice day!
Garry

The buy it now is $3000. You should tell him you have someone in that area who can pick it up with cash, see what he says.

a guy from italy bought my frame, subframe, forks, airbox, and radiators from whats left of my 03 crf chassis, and he insisted on doing a wire trasfer for money, and he needed the bank account number, i figured the guy was gonna be legit, since he offered us a credit card first, but we arent taking any chances so we opened a free checking account, and gave him that number, and when money gets here, we empty the account, i dont know about dealing with these people overseas, so dont take any chances.
