Making your front end wider with offset wheels is not the best option. Going wider with the wheels will create more bumpster and make your front end twitchy.

Your best bet is to put on wider a-arms.

They adjust the over all width of the quad. Wider or narrower.

Offset wheels may or may not be the best choice depending on your situation.

I had a 250x a bud was riding and we threw the offsets and rear spacers so he could get psyched for the track. The quad looked quite cool and phycological or not, he rode much better.

It was a cost effective way of getting some of the benefits of width.

With the wheels as shown above and some good quality spacers, you can do this for about $200.00 bucks or so, if you shop around.

If you want to take it a step further you need extended a-arms shocks and an axle. The quad will handle better than with simple offset wheels but the cost will be higher.

It's all in how much you want or "have" to invest in that 300.
