426EX vs Raptor?

I want to know if a 400ex with a complete pipe, hotcams stage 2, wiseco 11 :1 426cc piston, k&n filter with out lid and a well jetted carb can beat a Raptor on the acceleration, not on the top speed. If yes, by how many length? How many HP will a motor with all that stuff push? :devil: Thanks

I can out run stock raptors with my current setup and mine is still at 397 cc's. I can also out run them in top speed.

i think the EX will still take it. right now i am about even with an all stock raptor and i have a stage 2 cam, uni filter (no airbox lid), r-4 exhaust, no choke and rejet. the raptor is just barley faster but in a drag if i get a good start i can take one. i think with the extra cc's (i'm still on stock bore) and the higher compression you can take the rappy.

The 426 you described will easily beat a stock Raptor. It will stay neck and neck with a Raptor with a pipe/filter if (and I stress if) the Raptor is jetted properly.

BTW this is on the sand that I am talking about. The 426 has a 30+ lb advantage, but on dirt, the weight doesn't come into play that much.
