Stock motor, just rejetted. I have a pro-circuit T-4 now, 2 yrs old and want something else. White Bros, what's the difference in performance between e-series and R-4 ? If I save to buy a full LRD system would the added cost also bring more gain? Looking for stronger low and mid, then top. Any suggestions are appreciated.

go for the full exhaust. the slip on wont add more hp itll just make it "sound cool". spend the extra money and get a full system. you wont regret it.;)

Probably going with the LRD, have not decided slip-on or full yet. Anybody here have the full and tell me the results if you would.

the full exhaust won't do you any good unless you have the engine mods for it like a 440 kit.

yeah it will....the 400ex comes choked up from teh factory....more air and fuel always equals more power...open that baby up

with out the header there is no increased breathing which is what gives power....get teh full system...

if you have a stock 400ex a slip on is all you need. you will lose too much back pressure with a full exhaust system.

i had a w/b pro meg full exhaust, open airbox, 170 main, and my buddy had a w/b r4 slip on only, he would always get me off the line until 4th gear and then i would start to catch him. i was about 2 mph faster on top. i called white brothers and they said unless you have a 440, or a ported head with a cam and carb, you wasted your money, but if you plan on doing these mods in the future then a full exhaust is what you want.

....the pro meg is the big bore system. With your 400 the std. e-series full system would have been much better for you. The Pro Meg is about a 1/3rd the size larger in diameter from my eyeballed measurements. The full wb system will produce solid gains through the whole rev range. DW did a pipe shootout a while ago(maybe a year) that included dyno charts for about 12 pipes, including stock, all full systems.
