where can i get the best deals on new bearings and seals for everything? i'm getting an '89 310R sometime soon and i'm planning on replacing a lot of stuff just to be safe and make it last.

We sell alot os inexspensive bearing and seal kits for most bikes:)

Check on eBay. There are some very good deals out there. There is a person that sells an axle bearing and seal kit for my 400ex for $18.75 plus shipping. He sells a complete front wheel bearing kit for the same price. That is for both front wheels.

You mean external bearings, like axle, a-arm and linkage right? I highly reccomend Pivot Works bearings. You can get them direct from http://www.pivotworks.com or most mail order places like http://www.denniskirk.com .
