Well I have narrowed it down too 2 tires! Turf Tamers or Razr- I dont race but I will start soon. I mostly ride on grass and dirt, loose gravel and climbing all sorts of hills! So which are the best for these terrains? Any info will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks...But why? What qualities do they have that the Turfs don't?

The things you will be riding on, gravel, rocks, hills, seems to me you'll need a heavier duty tire and I had a set of razr's and they were pretty stout. The turf tamers, I see alot more on tracks than woods or trails.

Unless you are getting razr mx's I would stick with the old reliable tamers. If you are doing more track riding, definitely go with tamers. Razr's are good for woods, trails, etc...

Tamers are cheap, you can groove them, and at least in this area, all the winners run tamers for all the quad classes....which is why I switched!

razrs hook up great in just about all conditions. The wear on the razrs are great... i've had a pair for 1 year and a half and still had 30% tread on them

Razrs, and tamers are two very different tires. Tamers are for the track, razrs are for the trails and occasional tracks. Razrs have a beefier tread pattern which is better for the trails, and tamers have tiny nobs for tracks. Plus tamers arent very tuff tires.

it depends. tt have some great qualities. razrs are tougher , and heavier. with the right air pressure the razrs have more traction , but will take more torque to turn them. but they will also last longer. for general riding i would go with the razrs , cause they`ll last longer , and not puncture as easy. for competition i`d use the tt`s because they are a lighter tire and eat less torque to turn them.but tt`s are murder to keep air in after a little while on general riding , personally , i use razr`s for general riding , and would prefer tt`s or holeshots for competition. for hillclimbing , depending on your torque output , keep the tire pressure kinda low , so you get a little flex outa the razr`s. it gives a better bite. it works for me.

i hope they work out fer ya! just rem. they will use up a little more torque , but there are a good choice over-all. last very well. just keep an eye on the ari pressure depending on what kind of traction you want. less air= more traction , and the other way around of course.
