is thier a company that makes a 416 sleeve for a 400ex or do i have to get it bored over?¿

ya people make 416 sleeves...but most people just bore out the stock one...kind of a waste to buy the sleeve when you can just bore out

yea but would i have to send the motor in to be bored over?

Yes you would,but it would be alot cheaper then sending it in to be resleaved. Get your piston and take it and your cylinder to any engine machine shop and they will bore it.

so how should i take the engine in? could i just take the whole quad?

Just bore the stock sleeve. Take it to a local machine shop

first get the manual it will show you how to get the cylinder off. If you have friend who might help you , two heads are better than one if you havent done it before.
