I'm running 170 mj(dynojet),45 pilot, 4th or 5th needle position(dynojet needle). I'm not posotive on the setup so far. I just changed it all around and I only have about 1 hour on that setup.-darren

Those mods are near identical to mine. My tune is in my signature.

i agree 170 or 175. 42 or 45 pilot

ya i may go up to 172...i wanna try to cram as much gas in as i can before it takes my power...plus i think my 170 may be a little lean as it is

heh...my bike is REAL NICE...im sure u wont believe this...but when all i had was a pipe filter and jets along with no choke i was beating some piped banshees and tieing raptors...smoking z-400's and kfx's only kfx that ever beat me was a 440 back then and a predator would beat me by about 1 bike length...so my engine is ownage...and now...just imagine its potential

o i forgot to tell u...im at about 700-900 ft elevation

Yep... I think these guys are all a bit high... I know guys with 416's and 425's with a good bit of motor work and they are not running anything above 170.

aint that the truth i have a larger carb ported head full exhaust and only run a 165 and could actually go down 1 size maybe even 2

Ya you guys seem a little high. I have full exhaust, ported head, K&N filter, and 39mm FCR and I'm only running a 165. I might be running a little lean but it is running great. I'm gonna try to jet a little higher and i will let you know how it runs.

I'll go ahead and chime in.

Web450/451 cam
ported/polished head
no lid
X6

When I was using the stock carb, I had it with a 165. I put in a 170 and it ran good, but you could tell it was just a wee bit fat, slight puff of richness out the exhaust when you stabbed the throttle. A 168 probably would've been perfect at my elevation.
