any luck re using a 400ex head gasket

I was wondering if anyone has had any luck reusing a 400ex head gasket. I wouldnt call it used. The gasket has been torqued but it has NOT been ran. I tore my bike apart to make it a 416 and there it sat in piecs for 3 weeks due to circumstances not under my control. In my hast to get back into the seat tonight I forgot to reinstall the head stud dowls. Would I get away with taking my head off and putting it together right while still using the previously torqued head gasket.

i had mine half tourqued when i realized i didnt have the thingys. i unbolted it, but i have not fired it yet. im thinking it will be ok....

I would not worry about it my friend drove his around for a few months and took it apart and reused the gasket with no poblem

if your talking about the oem gasket i have had my head off the bike 4 or 6 times and have yet to replace the head gaskets and is still holding with ease
