Bottom end rebuild

I'm about to rebuild my bottom end and just wondered if you guys have any tips or tricks to the job? I have a shop manual and everything but wanted to see if anyone has any advice on here.

What special tools will I need to pull it all apart and put it back together??

All you need is a flywheel puller and a crankcase splitter. Get a service manual to help you out.:)
