one of the wires is suppose to be connected to the frame as a ground.

The other one would go to the HOt wire
its pretty simple:D

theres a short wire. this wire grounds on the frame. then theres a long wire. this one hooks to the black/yellow wire coming from the coil. the coils under the shifter side black side panel.

I had some one tell me it was black and white.....what do you do cut the black/white wire in half and connect the pro kill switch to it.or do you get a splice.....

On my 2002, the wire is black/white. You don't have to cut it, just use one of those blue crimp-type wire splices.

yeah, just splice in to it

I have a 99 400 ex. When I added the kill switch the wire was black and yellow. The only difference I have also seen is mine had a male/female connector on the line and I just sodered my hot wire to the male adaptor. I also used shrink tubing to cover my connections in an attempt to keep mud and water out.

I agree with Braff1 take the time and make a nice clean connection. Don't use the Scotch locks for making perminent terminations (or butt splices, wire nuts, etc.). Free air terminations on anything that is exposed to the elements will corrode and that would be bad.:D
