You can safely go out to 38mm. Is it worth it? That depends on what you feel is worth it. You can spend under $200 and have a bigger stock carb that will flow more, or spend $400+ and have a bigger carb with much better flow characterics and tuneability. I opted for the latter just because I do not mind spending money to get the best. It really is up to you, but there is an improvement to be had in both options.

I installed a sparks racing modified carb to mine last night. Couldn't take it for a test run but will tonight. I'll let ya know what I think.

Well, I got the sparks modified carb fine tuned and took it out for a spin today. It definitly pulls harder from bottom to top. I consider it money well spent. Is it worth the $125??? I'd have to say yes. I think a port job done with the carb would be a nice match.. Which is on my 2 get list when hunting season comes in..

i did but it wasn't a stand alone mod i did so i never knew how much i gained from just the carb alone that's why i was curious to hear ricos review since he put the carb on by itself
