anyone using magnetic drain plugs?

i was just wondering if anyone has used magnetic drain plugs? i just ordered two (oil tank and engine) because i thought they would be good to try. they were not cheap, $18 a piece. i will let you know if they seem to do their job or not.

i like them. luckily i havent seen any metal on mine but its a decent idea

You can get the magnetic plugs in an auto parts store for 1 or 2 bucks each. Just take in your old plugs and match the the thread size and pitch.
