I have some old roll design a-arms(non lobo) +2 +1. I cant seem to get the toe in adjusted right, both ends of the tie rod ends are screwed in all the way and the best i can get it at is a pigeon toed affect...Do you think adjusting my ball joints for more positive camber will help? I have the bottom and top ball joints almost all the way in....any more info or for pics i can send them to you to look at...

Are you using +2 tie rods or stock length? Stock length will not work. Sounds like you may have got them switched. The camber shouldn't effect the toe setting. Hope this helps.

yup + 2 tie rods, also if i was using stock tie rods, I would have too much toe out, not toe in....I'll post a pic tonight to illustrate the problem

i just skimmed this but did u say u had the tie rods screwed all the way in? toe in doesnt mean turn in, loosen each side like your take them out the wheels will point in, thats toe in, 400ex has a half inch on each side

i should have been more clear.
I have them all the way screwed in.
The problem is that theres too much toe in...like 2 inches to much...and i cant give it more toe out because i cant screw the tie rod ends in anymore....i need to post a pic so u can see what i mean...

Sounds to me you have the wrong length tie rods.

I agree with Meek, that would have to be the problem. On my plus 3's I was worried about the tie rods falling out of the end to get the toe in the way I wanted, not visa versa like yours.

I have the same a arms. The non lobo arms and they are +2 I believe. Front side pic. (http://www.socalmotocross.com/vtrracing/images/racebike2.jpg) Lets see a pic and see what your talking about because it sounds like the tie rods are the issue.

yeah, do you have the stock tie rod ends? is any tie rod broken off in them by chance?
