now this is a kick in the nugz,

they made the 4 stroke cc limit to 450cc!!

Now this is where yamaha would get angry, they made the yfz 439cc so it can be a competable bike.....then they announce the new limit......uggggg.....i guess its good news for all the new honda trx450 owners

Well the 2 smoke racers are gonna be cryin a river over this. I remember when they upped it to 440.. All you heard was how unfair it was. Guess it's time for the old school boys to realize thumpers are here to stay..

i really dont think that 11 cc's is going to make too much of a difference, lmao.

I think Yami guys will like this. This gives them a chance to bore their motor a bit more and get a few more ponies. While Honda is stuck.

What about the difference between a 416 and a 400? 16cc's is pretty significant.

I don't see why Yamaha would really care, people are going to do motor mods anyway, so know this just opens more doors for the yamaha guys.

EXACTLY.....yamaha has an advantage right here.....they can bore and do some motor work, and get an advantage over the honda which comes as a 450 stock

but atleast now the new honda can race

thats gay, they should of kept it at 440cc, too bad honda made it a 450cc, so whats next year? 460cc? keep the rules the way they are. im a 4stroke rider but still its just dumb to keep raising the cc limit, it is fun to watch the pros like jones and hitt run the R's cause its something different that goes around the track.

yamaha is going to spank the hondas now that the yammy can make it 450cc's

I think they should up the 2-stroke limit too.

Its a 250 2 stroke :D I am kidding. On a serious note...what about a Gas Gas 300? Can they run them, or is the displacement limited to 250cc and overbore? Or do they just ban all 2 strokes?

In addition to the above recommendations, GNC promoters, GNC sponsor coordinators and AMA staff are currently meeting to discuss the following and much more;
• Combining the GNC pro classes and using Production rules.

• Increasing the pro class purse

• 2-stroke engine displacement

• Expanding the GNC series to possible locations in Southern California, Texas and Florida

• Top five professionally ranked riders being allowed to race the Pro-Am classes

Looks like they may...:)

West Coast race's ohh yeah...:D
