what width of a a-rm do you want? of you all want stock vote accordingly. If you want plus 1 you know what to do. This is going to help a few people in maufacturing process;)

on a 250r/400ex most opt for a plus 1 a-arms and 4+1 wheels, making the total width about an inch wider than stock

exactly! 3+2 wheels are horrible for Xc cause all i did when i ran tem was catch trees left and right..............i run a 4+1 offset right now and will continue to run 4+1.btw this info will help someone make some a-arms:devil:

I would prefer stock width because the tracks around here are very tight. What company is this?

I'm using stock a-arms with 4 - 1 wheels. But, I'd like to have some +1s.

Trying still to get this motor stud update done.Iv'e started a new job and cannot get the time to work on it.I have been doing as much as possible when I get in but between the ol ball and chain and my new "puzzle" I'm about to kill someone:confused2 I can't believe the season has already started.I need to talk to you about some more parts.Do you recommend the dual battery or do you have a solution for the slow starts?I also need a chain and sprockets.Do you mind if I call and bug you this week,I have a couple more questions.

I went with plus one a-arms with the thought of putting on 4 + 1 front rims on with it to keep it as narrow as possible for trail riding and XC racing. Needless to say, I do not need 4 + 1 rims in Arizona.

I was not aware of any aftermarket "stock width" a-arms at the time I bought mine, otherwise, I would have probably kept the stock width setup. Like others, I do not like hitting the trees due to being an inch or two wider.:grr:

Note: I voted "Plus one with other ideas".

I run houser +1 a-arms and just put on some 4+1 beadlocks and my frontend width is just barely over 45 inches.. It was around 48 with my last rims on there..:( Going between trees with your eye's closed in a race is for chit... Not anymore...:D

Here's a pic of the rims I got from burgard..

When I've watched you ride, I had to close my eyes too.

Stock rims are 4+1, right?

I was 2 inches wider with the black beadlocks than I am now.

I understood that, what's the difference between the two?

4+1 is the narrowest offset they make. It takes width away on the front.
