well when i sell my 300 i think i want to start a project quad im thinking a banshee. how much would a crappy banshee go for. only criteria is that it has to run. I would tear down the whole bike rebuild the engine new brakes, bearings, and bushings. I was thinking about a 92 or something i want it to have the a arms and not j arms any ideas on how much for the bike then to rebuild it?

I love project banshee's. They always end up just awesome, a cheapo one that runs, you can prolly find for maybe 3 grand. good luck with it.-darren

I would think that the motor would be a little expensive since you have to buy two of each. I would love to see a good Banshee project, post if you do!

All depends on the deal you can find. I had a buddy get a 2000 banshee for under 2500 shipped and it was in perfectly running condition, good plastic, just needed a little cleaning. They turn out awesome though:)

i think you guys are thinking a lil to nice lol my freind just bought a 92 warrior for 500 in runing condition so i think that i could find a banshee for about that. Ill be on a budget but i did a lil reaserch and it would cost about 200 to rebuild it plus id do new bearings hopefully new shocks and plastics pipes and filters should be decent after i do that lots more power then the ole 300 :D

Look for one in nice shape, and get a stocker too.

There are alot of nice newer one's here in mich, with the average price of 2grand. Happy hunting, and consider having a thumper for longer (scenic cruising)trail rides. Built shee's (like mine) inhale gas.

Happy hunting:)
