anyone have an idea how the best way to cut diamond plate aluminum is? its not very think but i want to do some quality cuts any ideas on how to cut it?

Plasma is the only way to go, unless you have access to a fab shop with a sheer or turret press:macho

well got impatient and just started witha hack saw and file
works pretty good but slow. All my tools are at work anyways

If you have access to a plasma cutter thats the way to go... it very fast.
