Im not sure wether or not im going yet. I want to but I dont know if anybody is going with me yet. I raced the national at Southwick. That was pretty fun. It was the first time I had ever been there. It gets kinda scary because you dont know how big some of the holes are. I saw Angela Moore bite the sand through some of the bumps.

I will be there for sure this weekend. Probly go over on Friday night to sighn up. Hey EX80, what happened to Dumais at Rocky Hill? I wasn't that impressed with the track when we went there Sunday. Cyclepro26, hope you get your bike running for the weekend so wew can battle it out for the championship. Talk to you all at the races.

Dumaid nose dived so bad, that he literally stamped his bumper into the ground. Broken ribs, Lasurated his kidneys, punctured a lung, banged and bruised pretty good. Rocky Hill is OK i am not to crazy about it either but its closer than uxbridge. I do like uxbridge much better. But rocky hill is a place to ride, legally.

I also went sunday, not to ride. I saw you coming back right before the traffic jam. :eek2:

MXchamp82
10-08-2003, 09:06 PM
Wow, Dumais really got messed up pretty bad. I had a problem with the second big tabletop at rocky hill, kept nosediving off of it, so that could have been me. I think uxbrige is definetly a nicer track.

There is a new practice track in RI on rt44 near the CT border if you don't like ux or rocky hill. I've been there and it's little tight but way better than uxbridge. Plus the owner is out there all day with a rake and watering truck. It's callled New England Dirt Riders. Only $20 for the day. 10-5 everyday.

I have a 400ex and a YFZ. I was at rocky hill that day but not riding, my truck was in the shop that weekend. This weekend i'd be up for rocky hill. I am not ready for uxbridge with out a frame skid plate on my YFZ, and i don't want to scratch up my a arms just yet .:)

yea uxbridge sucks IMO, you need full underarmor to ride there and screw anything up underneath

Well guys I was planning to go to Rocky hill or uxbridge or Walden but on sunday night after southwick someone plowed into my trailer in front of my girl friends house. Destroyed the trailer and mess up my quad quite a bit. From what I can see so far axle, rear wheels, swinger, rear rotar, rear shock, and frame. Tore the trailer right off the truck. :( :( :(

Yea it should be covered. The truck that hit it is a company truck from the local casino. I'm not pissed cause the season is over. I'm very calm and just going to do this the right way and collect for my lost. It just makes it easier to get the 450R.

450R Here I come:D :D :D

any chance you could give us some directions, we are juct south of Boston. Thanks

Come down 95S take exit 4 in Mass which is 295S. Then take RT44 west exit (can't remeber the number) Follow RT 44 for a long time like 20 mins or so. When you start seeing signs for Washington Campground and you come up to a lake on your right across the street is the shop and behind it, up the hill is the track. You can't see the track from the road but just look for the New England Dirt Riders sign.

I have enough problems with cars and insurance. I don't need to start new ones on my own. I just got the accident report and it states that the guy had "a smell of an Alcoholic beveage on his person". His insurance should be coming to look at the trailer and quad tomorrow or friday I'll let you what the outcome is.

Went to uxbridge Saturday and it was good, a little wet in the a.m. I almost came into contact with the bulldozer on after the jump before the straight a way. those guys were still plowing dirt after they opened........there were 2 yammy 450's and a ds 650 there. not a bad day all in all.

how was the layout?

is it good? i heard the spectator is huge now?

AAAirbooorn
10-21-2003, 05:14 PM
Yeah, it's pretty big but I didn't see any quads clear it or even try.

There are 4or 5 nice jumps and a few lame ones. Most of the corners were pretty lame, bearly enough room to squeeze through. There was actually only one corner that you could really lay into.Another corner had no berm at all but a steep drop off that that will trash your quad if you go over it so you had to go slow and a couple of the other corners were too tight. The jumps were okay though.
