416 or 426?

I have been thinking of a stage 2 hot cam, edelbrock carb, oil cooler kit, heavy duty valve spring kit with titanium retainers, and 416 or 426 kit. Which kit should I get??? I have heard that the 426 is not reliable, but I dunno. Is the 426 much faster than the 416???. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would suggest the 416 if you are looking for good performance gain without alot of cost. The 426 kits are nice but if you want to build them right they cost more money. There is not alot of hp difference either:)
