Hey guys i got to whip the 400 today and when i was in the top of like 4th and 5th, mainly when i was topped out the whole front end was wobbling, like the bars were vibrating alot and was going back and forth very quickly , it was very uncomfortable to hold.. my rims are bent in on the inside, but just like a pinch in, not the rim itself... what else could it be? im real worried
:( please gimme some input

thanks

Ball joints or tierod ends could also be worn out or loose.

These buys summed it up for you. It could be any number of things. Bent tie rod could cause one of your wheels to be out of toe and make things unstable at speed. Worn rod ends, bent rim, bad front wheel bearings...

You guys forgot one other option that I experienced personally. I had some of that green slime flat prevention stuff in my tires and I dont think it spreads evenly like they say it does and it caused my bike to shake like crazy. Took my tires off and cleaned it all out and it was fine. Just another possibility!

loosen the nut on both sides, where the ball joint connects to the tie rod. Get a 10mm wrench and apply it to the flat spot of tie rod. Start turning until it comes out of the ball joint.

best thing to do. stand you quad up on the grab bar(gas off). spin your tires, wiggle the front end wiggle your wheels. play with everything in your front end.

Were you riding on pavement? They tend to be a bit squirrely at higher speeds on uneven pavement. Definately check all the other stuff also for sure.
