Badlands

Is anyone riding the Badlands anytime in October???

I might be there on the 18th or 19th with some friends... The GNCC race in Crawfordsville is that weekend though, so I'm not sure if we'll make it to the Badlands or not. I was there this past Saturday (the 4th), and man was it awesome! :D

Me and about 15-20 others are going up on the 25th and 26th. We'll get there about 9:30-10:00 on Saturday and stay overnight at Crawfordsville and ride again on Sunday. We park in the bottom lot. I'll be in a yellow Ryder moving van (converted) with a 18' red inclosed trailer behind it.

Ill most likely be there along with a bunch of friends that same weekend. Red Ford dually with red Haulmark car trailer...I have a black racecut 400 with Klotz graphics.

I never said I"m not coming.. my gear and crap is packed and ready to go. It all depends on what motha nature has planned for later this week. both hunting and racing stuff is packed and ready to go. I"ll decide thursday night what i'm gonna do....:blah:

I may be going the 24-26 and was planning to til tonight. Its going to cost me bout $150-$200 to go and only really get to ride full day Satruday...doesnt really seem worth it so I am still debating and thats $200 I dont have at the moment. :(

I have three reasons I don't race

1: Wife would casterate me in my sleep
2: After about 30 min I would be dead
3: Trees get in my way after i get to #2

I will stick to being a sheela when it comes to racing. If I was 10 years younger and single. maybe.

Good luck to all that racing. I would love to come up and watch. Maybe next year.

Maybe I could talk her into letting me hang them from my mirror and take them with me when I go out. :devil: I guess I could just by some aftermarket Brass ones. I may be onto something. Instead of spending the money on the 400, maybe the brass ones would make me faster? :rolleyes:

Has anyone been out there after it rains? Is it worth goin out there after rain or is it too soft and crappy?

ill be there sunday-got a red chevy ex cab with black inclosed- red 440 ex
we park down at the bottom by the tower (ex-moms area)
i like it there after the rain it cuts down on the dust -the woods gets sloppy-im thirty min from there it hasnt rained that much here

Sorry I missed you at the trailer. My buddy said you stopped by. He broke his wrist over the summer and isn't healed up yet so he had to quit early. Did your group have a good time? No one got hurt or tore anything up I hope. We had a few minor crashes. I think one of our group go a broken finger. We were on the moto t track and he hit a 300ex head on. He was on a new 450 Yamaha motorcylce. I had a KTM 250 run over the top of me. My back hurts pretty good, but nothing serious on either on of us. Not bad at all after the rain. I seem to get better traction and it's great without eating dust all day.

Yeah ..we had a great time...the only person that got hurt was my bud on a YZ426...he was tryin to do an iron cross.....meant for a streetbike.. and bit the dirt. I thought it was funny cuz hes a moron and he just got a couple bumps and bruises. Other than that the day was great...minimal dust and excellent weather. Your buddy kinda looked at me strange when I asked him if he was from exriders...lol. But its all good.....

Yeah, he's not hooked on the web site like I am. He caught on though. Our next run up is Good Friday and Saturday next year. We go about twice a year for two day's each. Glad you had fun. Maybe catch you there next time.
