how much higher do you jet for the winter months if any at all ?

I am not sure yet, as I have not had the carb through winter, but I would imagine I will end up about 3 sizes bigger on the main, and put in a 55 pilot.

but idles better with a 52 . i have a stock bore though .

That is another thing to consider. My quad is pretty far from stock. It will make a difference with how much fatter you will have to jet.

i would guess maybe 1 to 2 sizes. the great thing about these carbs is they are very forgiving. They can be a pain when jetting for the first time though:mad:
