ive tried the local classifieds, my dealer will give me only 3000 for it. now what? back to the classifieds? E-bay? how the heck do you guys sell your stuff successfully and quickly?

i dont suggest ebay or the internet....400ex's just are doing well using these methods. your best bet is to put it in the local paper. also, keep in mind the value has dropped quite a bit on them lately with the new 450's, and the z400 so keep in mind your going to take a big loss no matter what.

Based on no motor work or aftermarket shocks - you may want to take that 3k and run.

I'd go with the 3k from the dealer. You won't get much more than that selling it yourself, so take the easy road and just trade it in. Thats what I was going to do with mine until my friend offered to buy it from me.

3000 isn't bad for a trade value.

the dealer here offered me $3,000 for mine & im having alot of trouble getting $3,800 in the local classifieds.
