i was wondering if i could take the intake manifold(between the carb and the header) and bore em out a bit, if that would affect performance any?:devil:

I highly doubt it, I dont think it be worth the hastle:rolleyes:

Depends on if your carb is stock and if your head is stock port. If so it probably wouldnt help much.

oh, cuz i know a friend did it to his 185s 3wheeler, and they said it revved alot quicker and didn't hesitate any.. so i was just wondering, oh well.. scratch that idea out!

yup you sure can when colby did my head he had me send the intake boot also and he opened it up larger along with the intake side of the head

Ya but if his head is stock port then it will not help him any.

right...... but his question was is it possible to bore and the answer is yes, but yes it's pointless to do it unless you have had the head opened up :o

well, couldn't i use the same tool i bored the intake manifold out with to bore out the port on the header?:confused:

yeah you can, only do it if you have ported your head, port the boot to match the ported head. pics-
