i have just recenlty bought a 440 stroker kit for my 400ex...and plan on doin numerous things to the engine but one particular item i am having doubts about is the advance timing key...i read that i generates alot of heat due to the advance..now i just got into 4 wheeling a few months back..so if it all has been answered please point me in the right direction...n e way how will the timing advance key effect the way the 440 stroker performs...is it a good or bad idea to install this while i have the engine in peices.....nate

The advance timing key is not recommended for modified engines.

hey nate, its cool to see another member so close to me. i am planning on doing the 440 stroker once i get some money too. where did you buy yours at?
