need advice,i just bought rear tires for my 01 400ex(all stock)
the tires i bought are 18x10-9.they are alot shorter than the stockers.should i go to a larger front sprocket or a smaller rear sprocket to compensate the change. or just return the tires and get 20x11-9?by the way,the new tires are holeshot mx.supposed to be the new ones.

The 18's will lower the bike witch is good as long as you don't do to much mud.

A bigger front sproket would conpensate for the difference.
But you don't have to if you want more power kept the stock gearing.

that is what i was hoping to hear,i forgot to mention i run mx,so i know the lower stance would be an advantage, and it should help me with low end speed.thanks a bunch

If you run mx Iwould keep your stock gearing for more power cause you don't need the top speed in mx
