Not to be a jerk, but aren't YOU supposed to do the research? Look on www.lycos.com or www.google.com ..

Ya i know im supposed to do the research but i talked to my teacher and he said it was fine to ask for help on this site. I tried those sites at school and it came up negative. Our network sucks and alot of the sites are blocked. Luckily this is one I can get on at school. Thanks Again.

I think Dirtwheels did some kind of history thing like a year ago but I dont think it was exactly like just that it was in another article or something. Idk if it was online.

I have found very little info on the Go-Joe, I'm 95% sure that they were made for 3 years 1969-1972 and have found info online indicating that Rupp only made 300 of them total. They came in either red or white and have 295cc Chrysler or Kohler 2 stroke single cylinder engines on them. The early ones have band brakes(2 on rear) where the later ones have disk(2 on rear).

Their bodies are molded fiberglass with a 1" steel tube frame. They have long(chopper like) handle bars. Some of them(like mine :) ) were equiped with lights(front and rear) and electric start with a pull start backup.

They utilize the ballon tires for suspension(not that great). They also have a thumb throttle similar to modern day four wheelers. Because the gas tank is mounted under the seat the seat is long and can fit 4 people(1 adult 3 kids) on it. It is about 4" wider and longer than your modern day full size quad.

If you want to see some pictures of a couple they are here: http://www.ruppbikes.com/Others.htm The blue one on that link does not have the original bars or paint, but the white one does.

Sorry, I don't have any digital pictures of mine or I would send them to you.
