Air Box Question???????

I have holes in my air box that were there when i bought my quad and the holes were tapped up, i was wondering if i opened the holes up if i would have to rejet or anything..by the way i have a uni airfilter

If they are taped up now, then yes after you untape them and let more air into the engine you will most likely have to rejet.

if u didnt rejet with the air filter wihich most likely u didn't u might need to rejet depending on the size of the holes.

Hey 99300EX I have a 2000 300 EX with stock exhaust and I bought the uni air filter did you need to rejet with just the air filter? I am thinking of just putting it on and see how she runs.

with just a uni filter you won't need to rejet.

if u read my info u can see that i dont have a 300ex anymore but i did and i got a uni filter, and a wb promeg at the same time. I didn't rejet and rode it for bout 3 months. But it was lean and backfired. U wont need to rejet with just a filter.

if you have holes in your lid, you might want to put in a 150 keihin mainjet. that is one size bigger than stock.
